About
For Aaron Grant, making houses better has been a part of life for as long as he can remember.
His grandfather founded Grant Painting in Western Kentucky in 1964, laying the foundation for a family legacy built on hard work and craftsmanship. From the time Aaron was old enough to hold a paintbrush, he was helping improve homes. By his teenage years, he was already overseeing job sites and learning firsthand what it takes to get a job done right.
That early experience sparked a lasting interest in homes, construction, and design. Shortly after getting married, Aaron’s interest in home design and renovation grew into years of hands-on experience, transforming properties and developing a practical understanding of what makes a house work well and look its best. Over time, he expanded his experience from painting and renovations to building homes from the ground up.
Along the way, Aaron studied organizational communication at Murray State University and served as a police officer, where he developed strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain levelheaded in challenging situations. He later spent more than 15 years in enterprise technology sales, leading teams, managing major accounts, and earning multiple sales awards. That chapter of his career strengthened the communication, leadership, and project management skills he brings to his work today.
Today, Aaron leads Grant Painting and Builders, bringing together generations of painting experience, years of hands-on construction knowledge, and a genuine passion for creating quality spaces. He holds a Tennessee home improvement contractor license and takes pride in helping clients bring their vision to life, whether through professional painting, thoughtful renovations, or new construction.
For Aaron, the work is about more than the finished product. It’s about understanding the vision, paying attention to the details, communicating clearly, and doing the job with care.
With roots dating back to 1964, Grant Painting and Builders carries forward a family tradition of making homes better—one project at a time.
